How can you ensure that an asset shows up in the search result when searching for a keyword that is present in its description? Is it a bug? The description was added to the asset through the Purview UI.

@Laura Jetten Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A !! I have searched for a keyword which is present in the description of an asset and I am able to search it. I have added the below text to the description and I could see the asset being shown as part of the search results. Search Results I have checked with few other terms and able to search those through Search catalog. Please let me know if you are doing anything different.

Hi thank you for the response. Interestingly, I just edited the description (of the entity that wasn't showing up when searched for a word in the description) and this time around it did show up in the general search. After changing it back to its original description it also showed up with general search. So it seems resolved now, thank you!
