System keep rebooting

Anonymous
2024-11-20T14:02:52+00:00

My laptop keeps rebooting again and again. The CBS log is like this, I doubt if that is an update not installed correctly that causes the system to reboot itself repetitively. I've tried sfc /scannow and the clean img operations, but it is still rebooting. So I wen to the CBS log and would like to know if there is any clue.

If there is more information needed, please let me know. Thanks!

To those who have the same questions as me, I think I kind of find the solution. The rebooting might be caused by drivers, if to be specific, for me it's Nvidia GPU. First disable fast startup as instructed in this post:

https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht513773-how-to-enable-or-disable-fast-startup-on-windows-11

Then, uninstall GeForce EXperience and install the OEM Nvidia GPU driver (if your version is different from the OEM one) can help a lot for me. I don't know if an update to the newest version will also help. Also,

Apart from this, there are also fatal errors about TLS, cplspcon service and igfxCUIService2.0.0.0 appear in my event viewer, but seem no influence so far.

If the moderator has some other advice or insight, please also post to help other users who may comes across this question :)

As I am using a Chinese version Lenovo laptop, I will also use Chinese to explain again:

P.S. Do the operations related to Nvidia GPU if you find "The NVIDIA LocalSystem Container service terminated unexpectedly....." message in event viewer or find opening GeForce Experience. I'm not sure if will work when the above error does not appear.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I still experience reboots, the device will usually reboot within 30 mins of use. I try to record the log that appears right before the reboot, and I will post them below. I don't experience a blue screen, it is just the device will suddenly restart itself. However, I don't know if this is related--I used to install a third-party PC manager, and while the PC manager remained in my device, I experienced repetitive reboots and finally entered the automatic repair screen. After I uninstalled that software, there were no repetitive reboots but the device still restarted itself as I mentioned, within 30 mins of use.

Some CBS log before restart is listed below, I hope they may be useful:
