Shall we install Teams app before pin it to all users or it does not matter?

Hi all.

Something is unclear with 2 settings in teams admin center - Setup policies. When we create a custom app and when we want to push that app to all users so that they see it in the left navigation pane, do we need to install that app first under install section or it is enough to just pin it? What is the difference?

You need to install the app first under installation section before pinning it to left navigation pane.

In the Add Installed Apps we will add the apps that we want to automatically gets installed for users when they start teams.
In the Add Pinned Apps you can choose the list of apps that you want to access from Teams app bar.
