Why send them to the Control Panel when the Device Manager when you right click the Start?
Also the Control Panel is old hat. Use Settings instead.

I have a brand new Acer Spin SP513-54N. The touchpad functionalities of right click, double click etc. are not working though the touchpad works for scroll movements.
I was advised to reinstate the device to factory settings but the same has not helped either. Any advise please?

Hi,Subbu I'm Yanecsy and I'm an independent advisor.
I'm here to help you.
I recommend that you update your drivers, for this, Right-click on the Start button and then another click on the Control Panel. From the control panel window, open the Device Manager.
In Device Manager, go to Mice and other pointing devices and find the touchpad (mine is called Lenovo Pointing Device, but yours may have a different name). Right-click on your touchpad and click Update Driver Software.
Your computer will search the Internet for updated driver software in order to update the system. But, if your computer can't find an updated driver, you may have to search for the updated driver yourself. To do this, you have to go to the website of the manufacturer of your laptop and look for its downloads section. There, you can find updated drivers that the laptop manufacturer or the touchpad manufacturer have released for your device. If you can't find this section, just Google "[LAPTOP MODEL] Windows 10 touchpad driver".
Once you have downloaded the new driver from the laptop manufacturer's site, you can start installing it. If this doesn't work, you may have to uninstall the old driver and reinstall the new driver. To do this, you have to go back to Device Manager, right-click on your touchpad, and click Uninstall. Then, reinstall the new driver (the one you just downloaded) and restart your computer if necessary.
Regards.

Go Settings, Devices, Touchpad. Also maybe Mouse.
