Windows start menu keeps scrolling automatically

Hi there,

So basically I just opened Windows Search / Windows Start menu and tried to search for something when I noticed that it kept scrolling automatically through all my apps / options on the start menu. I have attached a video turned to a gif. I can't search for anything and I'm not sure how to fix it.

I'm on Windows 10. And I don't think it is a keyboard issue or a mouse scrolling issue because when I open any other app it doesn't scroll like that.

Please try the following methods below

    1. Please try to disconnect any external device from your computer. If you have a controller connected, check if one of your controller's direction controlling stick is stuck in a certain position.
    2. You may also try the free edition of Malwarebytes to scan your system for any malware.
