Hello,
I am currently using a DS4 (Duelshock 4) Controller, and it is connected through a cable into my pc. Light comes on signalling that it is charging, it comes up in "Devices and Printers" but still wont give an input.

As well as that I have another DS4 controller that isn't connected in anyway and cannot be removed from "Devices and Printers". It isn't anywhere in Device Manager and is only seen in the "Bluetooth and Other Devices" tab of Settings.

Please help,
Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have encountered the problem of not being able to enter commands after the Dualshock4 controller is connected to the PC.

Is your PC able to connect to other types of bluetooth devices? I browsed the official Sony website and there are no dedicated drivers for this device. So the problem may be with bluetooth or handle or compatibility.

    I give the following solution:

1- Check if the bluetooth is able to connect with other types of devices and try the bluetooth troubleshooter.

    Settings-Update & Security-Troubleshooting-Additional Troubleshoot-Bluetooth

Also check if there is an update available for the bluetooth driver

WIN+X to open Device Manager - Bluetooth - Properties - Update Driver Now

2- Try to reset the controller

1-Turn off and unplug your PS4 console.

2- Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller near the L2 shoulder button.

3- Use a small tool to push the button inside the tiny hole. Hold the button down for roughly 3-5 seconds.

4- Connect the controller to the PS4 console using a USB cable and press the PS button.

5- If the light bar turns blue, the controller has paired.

Please feel free to let me know how it goes.
