Delete my chat

Hi,

I have been sending messages to myself on teams and now I found out I can’t delete the entire chat like other chats. I want to delete the entire chat and each message. Please help.can you delete it from your side?

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the inconveniences,

    Unfortunately, there is no way to delete the entire chat thread with yourself on Teams, as it is considered a personal chat that is linked to your account. You can only delete individual messages that you have sent to yourself, but not the chat itself.

    To delete a message that you have sent to yourself, follow these steps:

    • Go to the chat with yourself on Teams.
    • Hover over the message that you want to delete and click on the three-dot menu icon.
    • Select Delete from the menu and confirm that you want to delete the message.
    • Repeat this process for any other messages that you want to delete.

    I cannot delete your chat from my side, as I do not have access to your Teams account or data. You are the only one who can manage your personal chat with yourself.
