Based from what I've read, you've encountered the same "Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR): SSL protocol error" using specific browser only (Google Chrome).

Since you've mentioned on your post that it only happens when visiting Google website using Google Chrome browser, please contact Google Support as they are experts in your field of inquiry and would be in a better position to address your issue.

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forums. I'm glad to assist you with your issue.

As what I've understood on your issue, you're receiving an error message "Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR): SSL protocol error" on your Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.

We would like to have a better understanding before we start working on it. I would really appreciate if you can help me with the following information:

    • Are you encountering this error message to other computer?
    • What are the exact steps that you're doing that led you to this error message?
    • What is the version of your Internet Explorer and Google Chrome?

Please optimize your browser, clear browser's cache and temporary internet files to ensure that your browser’s setting don’t contribute to your issue. Close your entire browser and try again.

If you are using a lower version of internet browser, I suggest you to update your browser’s version.

i have a similar problem.initially,my pc kept on restarting by itself,so i used system restore after trying various things mentioned in other posts on microsoft,as they did not work out.everything worked fine.

but i noticed that a particular website,goodreads.com was not opening, this was seen in both ie and chrome.i did try a few things i found on the net,but nothing has worked so far.as far as i checked, only this website is not opening, others seem to open just fine.
