Split from this thread.

I'm having the same problem - so far with Outlook only - started today 6/27/23 - this is with Outlook.com; I have Windows 10; am on a HP Pavillion

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700T CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHz

Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.9 GB usable)

Product ID 00325-95995-05480-AAOEM

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

it says to refresh, and I've tried that, tried opening from my Microsoft account, closed computer and restarted, turned off router and restarted.

this is the error message -

It has fixed itself. Just for the record, I had made no changes. I hope someone keeps track of these errors because it may be something on Microsoft's end. It would be very frustrating for the user to have to do the list of items you have posted.

I have been experiencing same issues. What works for me is when I clear my cache, history, and cookies. It fixes the issue temporarily but then the issue arises again

    Hi,

I am experiencing the same issue. it seems to keep refreshing until it hits a dead end. signing out and signing back in fixes it, but is a massive pain. My browser is up to date, but the email account is fairly new. Any suggestions?

    Hello LauraS_043

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have an issue in your Outlook.com wherein you encountered an error code. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • What are the changes made to the account prior of having the issue?
    • Have you tried to open it in-private mode in a browser?

Outlook Error 500 can be caused by various issues such as mailbox not found, protocol disabled, or too many roles assigned to the user. To fix the error, you can try the following solutions:

    • Check service health.
    • Manage roles of users.
    • Enable Outlook on the web.
    • Create a new Outlook profile.
    • Repair Outlook data files.
    • Run the /resetnavpane command.
    • Use the InPrivate mode of a different browser to log in to the Outlook web APP

If none of those solutions work, you may need to reinstall Outlook.

We look forward to your next response.

    Regards,

    Jason Guer

It seems happening with me too. Non of the troubleshooting works. For context: I created an outlook account (Well first I wanted to create in the application but went to this error) and I created in a browser but I cant log in without this issue in the windows application. On web it is okay tho, and on android too.
