Is it mandatory to upgrade to Windows 11?

My friend had signed up for the Windows Insider Program. His PC, which was running Windows 10 (well, until yesterday) automatically upgraded to Windows 11. That's understandable because he had signed up for the Insider Program.
But, when Windows 11 releases, will my Windows 10 PC automatically upgrade without informing the user like that via Windows Update?
P.S. My PC can't run Windows 11 because my processor doesn't support it and I don't have a TPM 2.0 chip as well.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know it is not mandatory to upgrade to Windows 11, also if your PC do not support Windows 11 it won't be able to upgrade.
It is only a recommendation as Windows 10 has its end-of-support dates, and you will want your operating system to be supported to still receive important security updates.
