outlook wont send code

The verification code for outlook is not sending to my email. I have hotmail and its not sending the code to my account and now i cant use outlook because the code will not send.

    could you please confirm the following:

    Have you recently updated your recovery email or phone number?

    Are you able to receive other emails to your Hotmail account?

    Kindly see troubleshooting steps below

    2. Review Security Info: Sign in at https://account.microsoft.com  , go to Security info, and ensure your contact details are up to date.
