FIXED. The update to version 15.13.1 (150807) has resolved this issue for me.
Excel: cursor location is wrong when typing
When I enter text into Excel the cursor is not shown in the correct location it is either a little ahead when entering in the formula area at the top or a little behind when entering directly into a cell. Is this a common problem? Is there any solution? Problem only seems to be in Excel, Word is fine.

- Cursor at wrong location
- When I try to move back or forward inside the cell to make a text correction, text content displayed seems sort of crippled
- Cells containing wrapped texts show words/letters overlapping each other or spaces omitted
- When I try to shift select a portion of text inside the formula bar,
Here is a partial screen shot showing the problem.

2015-10-29T17:29:40+00:00 I'm running 15.15 (151008) and it has not been fixed.
Also, it's unbelievable that this version of Excel was shipped with a bug this detrimental to usability.
