With all my current office365 programs, I have the following application faults that show up due to faulting module mso20win32client.dll. No such file exists on my current win10-pro system though or nei.

This file was originally included in Feb 2017 updates as part of office 2013. I have subsequently upgraded to Office365 and was working fine until 2018-07-26. I have done a complete uninstall of office365 and run the office fix application for a clean install. The problem still persists though.

I have had Microsoft support me remotely via logmein and their only solution was to run the applications as administrator. The support rep has changed all my shortcuts to run now as administrator but this creates additional issues such as windows search which does not work in an elevated mode . If I open a word/excel file normally by double clicking the filename it will not open with administrator privileges causing the apps to crash with this error. If I click on a mail notification popup also this does not open with admin rights and outlook subsequently crashes.

Support has not resolved this issue, only applied a workaround to try and get this working. They haven't solved the problem.

Anyone experienced the same or can offer some some further advise on this please?

An Additional Eventlog was generated which refers to the Office 2016 Licensing Service

"The description for Event ID 0 from source Office 2016 Licensing Service cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

Could be that it is still trying to use mso20win32client.dll
