How to get excel to dynamically format cells based on their content. The content is formatted as time (hh:mm:ss) For example I want all cells with a value of less than 6 hours to be red. None of the options I can find on the internet work

    Click on less than what?

    06:00 does not work.

    6 does not work

    360 does not work

    Thank you for clarifying that.

Have you tried clicking on Cell A4 and go to Conditional Formatting, under conditional formatting click on Highlight cell rules then click on Less than?

Let me put this another way.

    Cell A4 = Cell D3-Cell F3. they are all formatted as TIME ) hh:mm:ss)

I want Cell A4 to have a fill of red if it has a value of 06:00 hours or less.

    Does not help.

The time format is not one of the options selectable in the formula drop drop down.

I have tried 06:00:00, using the decimal verison of 6 hours as 360 minutes, Neither work.
