Comments, and Note Annotations does not work in MS-Excel Professional Plus 2019

Question

I followed the instructions in Excel's online Help video for adding "New Comment"  and "New Note" and all I have available is Notes.  I checked Microsoft's community at the following link and, deactivated all Add-ins (but did not uninstall them), and restarted Excel Pro Plus 2019 in SAFE MODE. However this did not resolve the issue; the "New Comment" command does not appear in either the context menu or on the Review tool ribbon.  One guy on the following discussion page says his suddenly started working and attributed it to an update.  But that was in January 2019 and this is December 2019 and I receive all automated updates so I don't think that's what fixed it for him.  The other guys with the issue apparently never got an answer before the discussion thread was closed.  Can anyone else help?  Here is the aforementioned link to the failed "Microsoft Answers" discussion page: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/add-comment-is-missing-from-context-menu-in-excel/2a403c03-ea36-4827-bc1b-e31d0ad96922

I am V. Arya, Independent Advisor, to work with you on this issue.

1. Try this - https://support.office.com/en-us/article/missin...
2. While you have Add comment in ribbon and Insert Comment in right click, I am not sure whether this is equivalent to notes or not for you. Earlier days of comment is now note and today's comment is conversation.

SHIFT+F2 - Does it insert new age comment or note for you.

Latest Pro plus is Version 1911 (Build 12228.20332) released on 3-Dec-19. Try to update your package to latest and see whether it brings back the functionality or not.
