Issue converting Word document with track changes (comments) to .pdf. Comments are truncated or lost.

When I convert my Word document with tracked changes (comments) to .pdf the comments are truncated or lost.  I need the FULL comments and metadata to appear in the resulting .pdf.

The resulting pdf has little yellow windows and you have to click on them to see the comment which is truncated and does not include all of the metadata.

I appreciate your response. You may share it via OneDrive instead. See this article on how to share files using OneDrive.

For security and the privacy of your information, I recommend that you share the OneDrive link via private message. I've sent you a private message, to view, click here.

    Thanks.

7-6-2020; Is it possible for me to email you the original Word document with the comments included? I think having the actual document would facilitate troubleshooting my issue.  I was testing the document this morning.   In Word, when I save as .pdf I get the truncated yellow windows has illustrated in the previous screenshot and in the SECOND screenshot below in the output .pdf.  When I select the option "Print to .pdf" the comments are included in the .pdf but I am losing some of the comment metadata.  Please see the screenshots below and advise if I can email you the original documents.  Or is there a way for me to attach them here, please advise.

I apologize for the late revert. I see that the screenshot you provided is of Outlook.com. How did you put the comments in Word? Can you provide a step-by-step instruction on how you put the comments in Word? I wasn't able to replicate your concern, see the image below:

Here's the image when I tried to view the PDF file in Outlook.com.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Hi Sheri44,

Thanks for reaching out in the Community. I hope you're having a great day, despite of the issues you're experiencing when saving a tracked document as PDF. Let's try to sort this out.

I tried to replicate your concern here on my end, and I think I didn't experience the same issue. See if what I did is correct:

If not, kindly share a SS of your concern. See this thread for instructions on how to include a screenshot in your post.

Also, have you already tried repairing Word or reinstalling Office?

To notify me and have me get back to you, simply reply to this post.

Please see the example and text below describing illustrating the result of my conversion to .pdf as described.  The boxes at the top of the pdf have to clicked on the view the comments and they contain no reference to the location of the original comment.
