Cannot change the date format for the new Microsoft Lists

Question

My OD regional settings are UK, but the template lists still use US format in MS team, how to format to UK format dd/mm/yyyy for the new Microsoft Lists in MS team channel. Has anyone got any ideas?

As per your description, I understand you want to change the date format (UK format dd/mm/yyyy ) for Microsoft Teams list .

For the Date and time column in Microsoft list in Microsoft team, the date format varies based on the regional settings for the site. 

Based on my test result, you should change the regional settings for the team site (when you create a team in Microsoft Teams, a SharePoint site with the same name will also be created).

Here are the steps: 

1.You can click "…" and select "Open in SharePoint" to open the related site. 

2.Select Settings(Gear icon) button from SharePoint Online , then select Site Settings.  

3.On the Site Settings page, in the Site Administration section, select Regional Settings. 

4.Change the regional to UK and select OK.
