Adding a file to a Loop area

I have tried to add a file to Loop, but I only get one option in the list... How do I look at all of my files so that I can select the ones I need?

One of my teammates found a work-around from this. In order insert a file into a Loop page:

  • Open the file you want to insert (Doc, spreadsheet, etc)
  • Use the Share button in the top right corner
  • Click "Copy Link"
  • Paste that link into Loop and it will insert your file

Still a problem that you can't choose the file from within Loop, but this has worked for me so far. Hope this helps you, too.

    Having the very same issue. Really frustrating because I would think attaching a file from my OneDrive would be among the most basic things this program needs to do.

    A little disappointed that this can't be escalated through MS to the right people as I'm sure you have better access to them than me.

    I have submitted the feedback as requested, but not convinced that this will land, or if I will see a response from the engineers as it just looks like a basic feedback tool where I just get a thanks for submitting...

    I can't believe that I am the only one unable to get to files in MS Loop.

    Same issue for me. Super surprised to see this hasn't been resolved yet. No one will switch from Notion if they can't add a file.
