Dear Shanice Govender,

Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

As per the description shared, I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey that the users in the Office 365 organization will not have an option to remove the listed devices in the Devices section (https://myaccount.microsoft.com/device-list) of the user account, where they can only disable the device.

However, to remove the Device ID which you have used the Microsoft 365 Services, I would like to convey that IT admin of your organization can delete the device from the Microsoft Azure Portal via below steps:

Note: The below steps need to performed by the IT admin of your organization: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

Access https://portal.azure.com> Microsoft Entra ID> Users> Search for your username and click on it > Manage> Devices> Select the device and click on Delete.

OR

Access https://portal.azure.com> Microsoft Entra ID> Devices> Search for the Device ID which need to be deleted> Select the device and click on Delete.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

Best Regards,

Sophia

The prompt for this is per your instructions above lead us to "Deleting the devices selected is permanent and will affect all user accounts withing this tenant on the selected devices. Are you sure you want to delete the selected devices"

This looks like it is going to delete the device across the board. What we are looking to do is just remove the device from the list of devices that are on a staffs list of used devices where the "Remove" button previously lived.

The previous instructions staff were able to do themselves in the past is listed here: The "Remove Device" Option mentioned here is no longer available.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
