    Hi ,

Welcome to our new Q&A platform.

NBT(NetBIOS over TCP) for use by NetBIOS is supported on Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows Me/98/95.

So the earlier OS means Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows Me/98/95.
