Hello Community

Does anyone have and wouldn't mind sharing a form and related tables/queries that would mimic a chat room.

Thanks

John

One possible reason there have been no responses to this post is that Access is not particularly well suited for the requested applications type, i.e. a "chat room". It could be done with Access, and probably has been. However, there are also many existing applications that fill this role. This forum itself, in a way, is in that same category. It's a place where Access users come to "chat" about Access development problems. In addition, a chat room, by its very nature, lends itself better to an online environment. Access is not well suited for that.

In short, without a context in which an Access based "chat room" makes sense as a solution to a specific problem, the chances of success in finding a template for one in Access are not that good.

By the way, many of the same volunteers answer questions both here and in the Access Tech Community group in the link. This is very much an Access question, which both this group and the other group are designed to support. There's nothing wrong with posting questions in either group, nor in any of the several other Access support forums, of course.
