GPU randomly restarts itself while under intensive loads (usually gaming) and causes games to crash from its reboots

Hello, I live in Vietnam and owns an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 Tiger, which I've been using for like 4 or 5 years now. Recently I experienced frequent crashes and instability on my Nitro trying to run games like PUBG or World of Warships, and an issue I've had in common is how the GPU driver just decided to randomly reset itself while gaming, causing PUBG to crash and WoWs to display things it shouldn't display: blackened in-game models, a still frame rendered from several seconds or minutes ago, audio is there but image is certainly not there, and at worst cases the system freeze (responsive to a degree but main functions disabled) which requires a hard reboot of the system to get it online. It happens extremely frequently (about every 2-3 minutes).

Possible causes on why and how this happened? Cause it certainly is not a performance issue (WoWs ran at 144fps and PUBG on 72). Rig specifications: Intel Core i5 11400H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop (4GB VRAM) and 16 GB of physical DDR4 RAM.

The best option is to completely remove the current Nvidia device driver using the widely available free DDU utility, then restart your PC and go to the Nvidia website to download and install a couple of slightly older version of the Nvidia device driver to try to find a version that is stable on your system.

A slightly older version of that driver is more stable than the latest version.
