The keyboard doesn't work, brand new out of the box. Tried several ports and nothing seems to work. The troubleshooting options say something about hot keys are missing, and Windows can't load it

    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Since the keyboard is brand new and not working at all, let's check whether the issue is a hardware or software issue.

Kindly test the keyboard on another computer. If it works there, the problem is with your Windows drivers. If it doesn’t work, the keyboard may be defective. Check for lights, Caps Lock LED, backlight if it has one. If nothing lights up, it’s likely dead hardware.

If the keyboard powers on but Windows says “hot keys are missing” or “Windows can’t load it,” that means driver issues. Right click on Start > Device Manager > If you see a yellow triangle or “Unknown device,” right-click > Uninstall device > Reboot and plug the keyboard back in to see if it works

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
