I have the authenticator app set up on my phone because I have to use it for my college account but I'm not getting any notifications. I've checked everything and I have the notifications enabled but it's still not working.

If you're not receiving notifications from the Microsoft Authenticator app, there are a few things you can check:

    1. Notification Settings: Ensure that notifications are enabled for the Authenticator app in your phone's settings. This includes checking both the app settings and the device settings.
    2. Network Connection: Make sure your device has a stable internet connection, as notifications require internet access to be delivered.
    3. App Permissions: Verify that the Authenticator app has the necessary permissions to send notifications. This can usually be found in the app settings on your device.
    4. Anomalous Sign-ins: Starting in August 2023, notifications for anomalous sign-ins do not generate alerts. If you're trying to approve an anomalous sign-in, you may need to open the app manually and refresh to see the request.
    5. Device Compatibility: If you are in a region where certain services are blocked (like in China for Android devices), notifications may not work. In such cases, consider using alternate authentication methods.

If you've checked all of these and still experience issues, you may want to try reinstalling the app or contacting support for further assistance.
