The KernelBase.dll error you are experiencing with applications like PowerToys.Awake.exe can be related to various issues, including software conflicts, corrupted files, or outdated system components. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Update Windows: Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
    2. Update Applications: Make sure that the applications you are trying to run (3dsmax, AcPowerNotification.exe, Fences.exe, PowerToys.Awake.exe) are updated to their latest versions.
    3. Check for Corrupted Files: Run the System File Checker (SFC) tool to check for and repair corrupted system files. You can do this by opening Command Prompt as an administrator and running the command sfc /scannow.
    4. Check Event Viewer: Use the Event Viewer to look for more details about the error. You can find it by searching for "Event Viewer" in the Start menu. Look under Windows Logs > Application for any relevant error messages.
    5. Reinstall Applications: If the issue persists, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling the affected applications.
    6. Disable Conflicting Software: If you have any antivirus or security software running, try temporarily disabling it to see if it resolves the issue.
    7. Contact Microsoft Support: If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance, as they can provide more tailored help based on your specific situation.

These steps should help you diagnose and potentially fix the KernelBase.dll error you're encountering.
