Hey there! Nice to meet you!

You mentioned: "it keeps telling me that I can’t use that method I already sent an email to the account and it said I can’t do it and to wait tomorrow"

That is an indication that the account is temporarily blocked due to unusual activity.

Kindly perform these steps to resolve this error:

    1. Perform a password reset through the InPrivate window or Incognito. Also, try using different devices and network services.
    2. Wait exactly 48 hours to reset the password, then try resetting the password again, but please make sure not to sign in or reset the password within that timeframe, as this may reset the lock cooldown.

If you are having trouble resetting your password for a Microsoft account and receiving messages that indicate you cannot use the method you are attempting, here are some steps you can take:

    1. Check Your Email: Ensure that you have access to the email account associated with your Microsoft account, as you may need to receive a verification code or link.
    2. Use the Correct Reset Method: If you are using a work or school account, you may need to contact your organization's IT support for assistance. For personal accounts, ensure you are using the correct recovery options available at the Microsoft account recovery page.
    3. Wait for the Lockout Period: If you have attempted to reset your password multiple times in a short period, Microsoft may temporarily lock the account for security reasons. Wait for the specified time (often 24 hours) before trying again.
    4. Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can help troubleshoot the problem and guide you through the password reset process.

Make sure to follow the instructions carefully and provide any necessary information to verify your identity during the recovery process.
