I have a very buggy macro that keeps crashing Excel. I don't want to deal with it at the moment, but I do want to continue viewing and editing my workbook. How do I temporarily disable the macro?

To temporarily disable macros in Excel, you can adjust the settings in the Trust Center. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Open Excel and go to File.
    2. Click on Options.
    3. In the Excel Options dialog, select Trust Center from the left pane.
    4. Click on the Trust Center Settings button.
    5. In the Trust Center dialog, select Macro Settings.
    6. Choose the option Disable all macros without notification. This will prevent any macros from running while you work on your workbook.
    7. Click OK to apply the changes and close the dialogs.

This will allow you to continue viewing and editing your workbook without the macro causing crashes.
