The error messages indicate that the VM is not able to boot from the ISO image. A few important points to check:
- Use IDE Controller for Boot ISO
- Hyper‑V does not support booting from a DVD drive attached to the SCSI controller.
- Please remove the DVD drive from SCSI and add it under the IDE controller instead. This is required for booting installation media.
- Verify ISO Integrity
- Confirm that the Windows 11 ISO is valid and not corrupted. You can do this by mounting it on your host system and checking that
setup.exeruns. - If needed, re‑download the ISO directly from Microsoft.

- Firmware Boot Order
- Ensure the IDE DVD drive is at the top of the boot order in the VM’s firmware settings.
- TPM Setting
- Enabling TPM is correct for Windows 11 installation, but it does not affect ISO boot. Keep it enabled for compliance.
- Disk Configuration
- Make sure you have a blank virtual hard disk attached to the VM so Windows can install once the ISO boots.
