Lock screen

Question

When I start my computer there is Lock screen. When I try to sign in the keyboard is frozen both letters and numbers. If i shut down my computer and try again the same thing happens. However, if I restart my computer everything works fine. I'm tired of having to restart every time I use my laptop Please Help
