I have sub folders in my account. Two of the folders have had all the saved emails deleted. How do I get them back?

    Hi Anita,

If mails got deleted from those 2 folders please try to recover them using this steps.

Recover mails from your Deleted Items or Junk Email folders in classic Outlook:

Select the Deleted Items or Junk Email folder. Check the mails you want to recover then click to highlight the mails and move them to the folder you like to move.

You can also select the item and, from the Home tab of the ribbon, select Move. Choose a folder from the list, or select Move to a different folder, and then choose a location from the full folder list. You can also drag messages to other folders.

I hope this information help you well.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

If you have deleted emails from subfolders in your Outlook account, you may be able to recover them using the "Recover Deleted Items" feature. Here’s how you can do that:

    1. Open Outlook and go to the folder where the emails were deleted.
    2. Click on the Folder tab in the ribbon.
    3. Select Recover Deleted Items. This will open a window showing the items that can be recovered.
    4. Look for the emails you want to restore. You can select them and then click Recover Selected Items to restore them back to their original folder.

Keep in mind that the ability to recover deleted items depends on your organization's retention policies and the deleted item retention period set in Exchange. By default, deleted items are retained for a certain period before they are permanently removed.

If you have already purged the items from the Recoverable Items folder, they may not be recoverable without administrative assistance.
