Hello, I'm Quinn and here to help!

First, make sure Windows is fully up to date by checking Settings > Windows Update. Then, check if Outlook isn't still running in the background:

    1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
    2. Look for Outlook.exe (or your mail app) under Processes.
    3. If it’s still running, right‑click > End task.
    4. After that, reopen Outlook and check whether your email loads normally.

If the issue continues, repair your Office installation:

    1. Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
    2. Select Microsoft 365 or Office
    3. Click Change
    4. Run Online Repair

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with Outlook where you can only access your email after restarting your computer. This could be related to how Outlook is handling sessions or processes. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Task Manager: After closing Outlook, check the Task Manager to see if any Outlook processes are still running. If they are, end those tasks before trying to reopen Outlook.
    2. Repair Outlook: You can try repairing your Outlook installation through the Control Panel. Go to Programs and Features, find Microsoft Office, and select "Change" to access repair options.
    3. Create a New Profile: Sometimes, creating a new Outlook profile can resolve issues. You can do this through the Control Panel under Mail settings.
    4. Update Outlook: Ensure that your Outlook is up to date. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs that cause these types of issues.
    5. Uninstall and Reinstall: If none of the above work, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Outlook to see if that resolves the problem.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, you may want to look for more specific solutions based on any error messages you receive or additional symptoms you notice.
