Look at the function keys (F1 - F12) on your keyboard.

If one of them has a symbol that looks like a touchpad, try pressing that key or Fn + that key to test if that enables the touchpad.

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager.

Expand the 'Mice and other Pointing Devices' section.

Please provide a screenshot of that full Device Manager window.

Click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.

Follow these steps in order on the Windows 11 device:

1. Update the touchpad driver using Windows Update
   • Open Settings → Windows Update.
   • Check for updates and install any driver or optional updates that mention touchpad, mouse, or input devices.
   • Restart the PC and test the touchpad.
2. Update the touchpad driver using Device Manager
   • Right‑click Start and select Device Manager.
   • In Device Manager, look for the touchpad under:
     • Human Interface Devices, or
     • Mice and other pointing devices.
   • Right‑click the touchpad entry → Update driver and follow the prompts.
   • Restart and test.
3. Reinstall the touchpad driver (forces Windows to pull the latest from Windows Update)
   • Open Device Manager again.
   • Find the touchpad under Human Interface Devices or Mice and other pointing devices.
   • Right‑click the touchpad → Uninstall device.
   • Confirm the uninstall.
   • Restart the PC; Windows Update will reinstall the driver automatically.
   • Test the touchpad after restart.
4. If the touchpad still does not work
   • If updating or reinstalling the driver does not restore functionality, contact the PC manufacturer for hardware‑specific diagnostics or repair, as recommended.
