Mike 6 Reputation points2022-01-10T21:42:57.08+00:00 this is a great question Intel i5-7200U supported for Windows 11 as i am running windows 11 on that same cpu for the last few months with no issues other than the original statement from Microsoft update stating this device is not meet the minimum requirements for windows 11 , all other requirements are met other than the cpu, and as stated windows 11 can be loaded but will not be supported on these devices and no updates will be given. Pretty bad because I believe even the technical specs of the i5 7200u meet all the requirements stated by Microsoft , just that they have chosen 8th gen cpu's as a cutoff , oh and not to mention a few selected 7th gen cpu's that are installed in Microsoft products. But then again i could be wrong as i am not an expert just a person that likes to try things when others say it can't be done.
