I have come to be VERY frustrated today because i cannot change my password. I have tried absolutely everything. Giving information to prove its me, clicking on reset password, looking up similar questions and nothing has helped me.

i would like a direct link to reset my password. I’m willing to give further proof i am the owner of the e-mail if i also do regain access.

    Hi,

I understand how frustrating this situation can be, especially when you’ve already tried several recovery steps. I’ll do my best to guide you in the right direction.

You can reset your Microsoft account password directly using the official link below:

    https://account.live.com/password/reset

The system will ask you to verify your identity using your recovery email, or phone number to reset your password.

If the issue persists, the Account Recovery Form becomes the only secure alternative. It is designed to help confirm ownership of the account by collecting information that only the real owner would likely know or have access to, such as previous passwords, or frequently contacted emails.

For security reasons, Microsoft cannot bypass these verification steps or manually reset passwords, even with additional proof, because doing so could risk unauthorized access to the account.

Here is the link to the account recovery form: https://account.live.com/acsr

Microsoft typically reviews recovery requests within 24 hours. If your request is successful, they’ll send instructions to help you recover your account.

Help with the Microsoft account recovery form: https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form-b19c02d1-a782-dee6-93c3-dc8113b20c42

You can submit the form up to twice within a 24-hour period, so feel free to include any new details you remember each time until you recover your account.
