    Hello

Repair shop actually cannot recover your data. If they claim they can crack bitlocker, that would be a lie, don't fall for it.

When you first set up D and E drive, the Windows you used at that time, was it set up with a different account? I wish I could share good news, but the truth is no one can get you the bitlocker key, including Microsoft staff/support. https://support.microsoft.com/windows/find-your-bitlocker-recovery-key-6b71ad27-0b89-ea08-f143-056f5ab347d6 The link here says, "Important: Microsoft Support doesn't have the ability to retrieve, provide, or recreate a lost BitLocker recovery key."

If you set it up with school or work account, it is worth checking here as well https://aka.ms/aadrecoverykey sign in with your work/school email credential in that case.

If you cannot find it at all, format is the only option. I am very sorry.

You bring it to a computer repair shop and send the hard drive off to a recovery center. Recovery of files is expensive so just be ready for that cost. Most cases you need the bitlocker key to get the files but a recover center is the best option at this point. IF you can not afford a recovery sevice try a local computer repair shop. They will need to pull the harddrive out and mount it externally to see if it is locked. Bitlocker is pretty advanced so it willl take an advanced person to recover the files. IF the files are not worth the cost of repair then format the drive if you can. Then go buy an external harddrive and use that as a back up or buy a western digital NAS hard drive. The NAS is a tad bit slow just try to buy the SSD version.

Best of luck Wish I had better news but that is the answer.
