my headphone ports don't recognize my headphones or any device at all and i don't have the real tek audio installed onto the sound,video and game controllers of the device manager but its just "high definition audio", no other input devices except that and no output at all

What is the headphone model?

Are you using a USB or JACK connection?

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

Since your audio driver is Realtek but you are currently using the generic driver, you can install the specific driver via the link below:

I also recommend installing the Chipset drivers:

Intel Consumer ME driver 2552.8.10.0 for Windows 10 64-bit & Windows 11 64-bit.

Intel Serial IO Software v30.100.2531.31 for Windows 11 64-bit.

Gaussian and Neural Accelerator Driver v3.5.0.1611 for Windows 11 64-bit.

Intel Management Engine Interface v2540.8.7.0 for Windows 11 64-bit.

Intel HID Event Filter Driver v2.2.2.17 for Windows 11 64-bit.

Intel Chipset Driver v10.1.46.5 (package version 10.1.20378.8757) for Windows 11 64-bit.

Intel DTT 9.0.11405.42569 (IPF driver V1.0.11405.42038) for Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11 64-bit.

After installing the drivers, restart your PC and wait a short while for the Realtek console to install automatically. If your headphones use a single jack and your PC case has a front-facing single-jack port, you can plug them in at the front.

If your headphones use dual jacks, you should plug them into the corresponding ports on the back of the PC.

If your PC only has dual-jack ports but your headphones have a single jack, you will need a single-to-dual jack adapter.

Okay so, since i already had like many other attempts at installing realtek drivers

I want to point out that i do have the realtek audio console app but whenever i load it up, it says RPC not found

And just to make sure i am on the right page and not messing something up.

What exactly do i do once the drivers have been installed, do i go in the files and just click their file or what, give me a step by step , sorry for the hassle.

Hi,

I’ll explain the steps below; let me know if you need more details. I initially thought you didn't have Realtek installed, as your previous question mentioned having the generic "High Definition Audio" driver.

In this case, here is what you need to do: first, uninstall the Realtek Console, then restart your PC. After that:

Install the chipset drivers. Download each one, extract them into separate folders, and open each folder one by one. Look for asussetup.exe, run it as an administrator, and follow the "Next" prompts to install the drivers.

After installing the chipset drivers, restart your PC. Once restarted, go through the Realtek Audio driver installation process again. However, after extracting the Realtek Audio driver from the motherboard's website, use Setup instead of asussetup.

It will ask to restart to continue the process; after restarting, the process will resume, and it will restart again.

Once finished, go to Device Manager and check the "Sound, video and game controllers" tab to see if "Realtek Audio" or "Realtek High Definition Audio" is listed.

If it is, wait a few minutes; the Realtek Console should reinstall itself automatically, and then you can try opening it.
