Teams becoming unavailable in China for personal use

If I just leave Teams on my Mac while I am in China, without exporting contacts, messaging or photos and then move to another country, for example, the UK, and then open Teams, will everything still be retained as it was or will everything be lost ?

All of your data should be still available. If you are just visiting China you might be able to use Teams while on VPN too.
