We have a Site to Site set up, the team logins to the on prem vpn device and then connecs to the network.

What options we have for client vpn using Azure so we are not dependent on local hardware at our client sites for our user’s connections back to our network.

is it possible to remove the vpn device and still access the network as all of us are working from home

I am not sure if I get the details .... What do you mean with "connect to the network? The network in Azure?
The Azure VPN Gateway offers Site To Site and Point To Site connections. Instead of connecting to the on-premises VPN device the users can connect to the Azure VPN Gateway Point To Site (after configuration) as well.

    Maybe this is helpful.

    Now I got it.

    As I wrote before:
If you already running an Azure VPN Gateway with a Site To Site connection the same VPN Gateway can be used to configure a Point To Site connection.
This way VPN clients are able to connect to the Azure environment.
No on-premises VPN device is required for that.

    Maybe this is helpful.
