Change Content Directory for our WSUS server from On-premise to Azure.

Hi Team,

We have migrated our on-premise WSUS servers to Azure for patching deployment. However, the patches/updates are not downloding on the client servers. When checked the logs, we found that content directory on IIS and registry is not updated. However, we need step by step instructions to change the content directory so that all our client servers start downloading patches.

    @Girish Prajwal Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    This is blog will help you in Validate WSUSContent Move was Successful. There are three different places where the WSUSContent configuration is utilized. If configured correctly, all these locations should point to the same path.

    Also refer to Specifying Where to Store the Updates

    Once migration completed content directory should get update automatically with existing patches.

    We have 2 WSUS servers configured for Patching all our servers hosted in Azure, AWS & On-premise. Currently, our storage directory to store all patches synchronized from Microsoft every month.

    We now have a content directory with empty space hosted in Azure to be made as a new content directory here after. We need to know the steps to make the Azure Content directory from on-premise to Azure.

    The below article suggests the steps. However, we need to know it from Microsoft with their suggested steps from MS articles for Azure storage account
