window 2016 Extended End Date till Jan 12, 2027 but build version 14393.3866 failed to install patches due to EOL

Hello All,

I could see for windows 2016 servers mainstream support is ended but having Extended End Date till Jan 12,2017 based on the below link also trying to patch on build version 14393.3866 unable to install cumulative patches getting failed always

Note : i can able install patches on same 1607 build version 14393.5006.

can you give your suggestion why this confuse

The confusion arises from different support phases and versions of Windows Server 2016. Mainstream support for Windows Server 2016 ended on January 11, 2022, and extended support continues until January 12, 2027. However, version 1607 reached its end of service on April 9, 2019, which is why cumulative updates like build 14393.3866 might fail. Ensure you're using the latest supported version.

Windows 10 LTSC 2016 and Windows Server 2016 are supported with updates until 2027

your updates installation failure has nothing to do with that
