when my application sent some logs, it is taking a lot of time to appear in azure log traces. It is taking like 5 minutes to appear. Is there a way to reduce this time delay?

    Hi @santosh kumar ,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A! Thanks for posting the question.

I understand that you are trying to observe/query data from ApplicationInsights sooner than the observed approx. 5 minutes latency. This is by default and is mainly because of aggregation (which aggregates last few minutes data before sending to Azure) as well as batching (where some metrics/logs are collected locally and sent in batches). This is also included in our FAQ: How long does it take for telemetry to be collected?

However, you may use the QuickPulse (Live metris Stream) feature of ApplicationInsights to observe data with 1-second latency. You might not observe all the data/logs in live metrics, but you would be able to see telemetry data coming into ApplicationInsight in near-real time. Please refer to this link for more details: Live Metrics Stream: Monitor & Diagnose with 1-second latency

Please let me know if you have any questions.
