Microsoft Edge and beta edge versions are crashing frequently making me reading files difficult. After 5 minutes of opening the file, it crashes for which I have to refresh files. I have uninstalled and reinstalled apps. Still, it is posing the same problem.

    Hi,
    What's your system version and Edge version?
    Type "winver" in Search Bar to check system version and check Edge settings about Edge version.
    Try to check for update, if any security updates need to be installed.

    Hello,

    For Edge beta version, check for updates and install them by going to edge://settings/help URL.

    If you've problems with legacy Microsoft Edge, try this:

    1. Search for Windows PowerShell using Cortana or Windows Search.
    2. From results, right click on Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
    3. Then type following command and press Enter key:

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” -Verbose}

    Let the command complete.

    Close Windows PowerShell and check Edge, it should work fine now.

    Let us know if this helps!
