MadVR settings panel not loading in converted UWP app

Question

I have an exe installer(media player) that has madvr(https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146228) which installs as part of the installation.
I used the MSIX tool to package the exe installer. I tested the MSIX package and the media player runs fine but when I try to open the madvr settings from the application I get the following error message:
The file "madHcCtrl.exe" seems to be corrupt!

Please help.

Hi,

For a desktop bridge app, please refer to this document first: Prepare to package a desktop application. Please check if the MadVR does something that is not allowed in the document.

This issue is something that you might need to talk to the owner of MadVR for more support.
