ADF pipeline stuck in "Queued" status while writing data in SFSC

I am writing to upsert / insert records in SFSC from sql server object . The connection to SFSC is working fine and successful. But when I run the pipeline the status is stuck in "Queued" . It never changes.

For better understanding and assistance, could you please share below details:

What is your Source and Sink? From the original query it sounds like SQL server is source but not sure if it is Azure/OnPremise, also could please elaborate what SFSC is?

Queued Pipeline runID & activity runID ?

Data Factory region

What is the integration runtime used for both Source and sink connection? If any SHIR is used, please confirm what version is being used? If it is AzureIR - please confirm if it is Auto resolve or custom AzureIR?

Providing above details would help us to investigate deeper and identify the root cause.

1 . Source is Azure Sql DB and sink is SFSC- I created the connection using Environment URL and trying to update one of the object API columns. I have read and write permissions on the object API.

The Queued Pipeline runid : e2386115-76ec-4fb1-8346-fdb0cf8871df and activity run id : a1e21c74-dbde-4aac-ba8b-78a0e194b5de

Data Factory region is Ontario, Canada

Integration Runtime for both source and sink is same and it is Custom AzureIR

Please let me know if it helps .

Thank you for your response and details.

While investigating into the logs based on the runID's provided, we have noticed that you are using "Self Hosted Integration Runtime (QA-XXXXXXXX)", but as per your previous comment, it should be Custom AzureIR. Could you please double check the integration runtime used. In case if you are using SHIR, could you please try using Custom Azure IR with a location near your Salesforce Service Cloud instance and let us know if you still notice the same behavior?

And also noticed that the pipeline run was cancelled after 13 minutes of the execution was started? Could you please confirm if you have manually cancelled the pipeline run?

Please let us know how it goes with Custom Azure IR with a near location to SFSC.

Thank for your response @Alinkil, Mithun . When I checked the above runID which was shared, I still see that SHIR (grationRuntimeName": "QA-*******",) was used.

Glad to know that your issue was resolved by using Custom IR with Canada Central Region.

As mentioned in my initial comments, this is being called out in our doc as an important note : Copy data from and to Salesforce Service Cloud by using Azure Data Factory
