Install NPS server role and NPS extension in Azure Virtual Machine created with windows server 2019

Hi All,

We have a requirement from customer wanted to deploy additional NPS server in Azure VM with NPS extension installed on it to use Azure AD MFA for radius client which is (VPN server located in On premise) ? Kindly confirm if this scenario is supported

If supported, should we need to deploy additional domain controller in Azure for NPS registration ?

Also, Any specific network considerations i.e (Port opening) to be taken care between radius clients and NPS in Azure VM ?
