Binds the value of a field to the BoundField object.

Parameters

sender: Object

The source of the event.

e: EventArgs

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Exceptions

HttpException

The control to which the field value is bound is not a TextBox or a TableCell.

Remarks

The OnDataBindField method is a helper method used to bind the value of a field in the data source to a corresponding cell in the BoundField object.

Notes to Inheritors

When extending the BoundField class, you can override this method to perform a custom binding routine.
