I am a Program Advisor at an Institution that wishes to enroll in the Microsoft Learn for Educators – Educational Institution Option. I represent and warrant that I have the legal authority to bind my Institution to these Microsoft Learn for Educators Business Terms (Business Terms). Participation in the Educational Institution Option is subject to the Microsoft Learn for Educators Program Guide (Guide), which is hereby incorporated by reference into these Business Terms. I have reviewed the Guide and understand that capitalized terms used but not defined in these Business Terms have the meanings set forth in the Guide. By checking the box below labeled “I accept,” I hereby acknowledge and agree to these Business Terms on behalf of myself and the Institution.
- The Institution’s enrollment in the Educational Institution Option is subject to my agreement to these Business Terms (on behalf of myself and the Institution) within twenty-one (21) days of Microsoft sending me the link to these Business Terms.
- A least two (2) and no more than ten (10) Educators per Program Advisor must be onboarded and actively participating in the Educational Institution Option at all times that the Institution is enrolled in the Educational Institution Option.
- The Institution must cause each of its Educators participating in the Educational Institution Option to begin teaching:
- their first stand-alone course(i.e. a self-contained course consisting solely of Microsoft Official Curriculum) or an extracurricular course (i.e. the course includes Microsoft Official Curriculum that is related to, but not core to, the program curriculum) within six (6) months of my agreement to these Business Terms; or
- their first lesson within a related course (i.e. a course that embeds Microsoft Official Curriculum within a broader curriculum) within twelve (12) months of my agreement to these Business Terms.
- Microsoft may, at any time, in its sole discretion, and for any or no reason, change the support provided to the Institution and its Educators as part of the Educational Institution Option (including, without limitation, the level or frequency of such support).
- Microsoft may, at any time and in its sole discretion, terminate the Institution’s enrollment in the Educational Institution Option (a) immediately upon notice to the Program Advisor if the Institution and its Educators fail to comply with any of the terms set forth herein; or (b) upon thirty (30) days prior notice to the Program Advisor for any reason or no reason, including if the Institution and its Educators fail to respond to Microsoft Training Program Manager Team communications for four (4) consecutive months. If the Institution’s enrollment in the Educational Institution Option is terminated, the Institution and its Educators will no longer be able to access the benefits and support associated with the Educational Institution Option but, subject to paragraph (7) below, Educators may access Microsoft Official Curriculum and teaching materials by enrolling in Microsoft’s Individual Educator option. If, subsequent to termination of its enrollment in the Educational Institution Option, the Institution wishes to regain access to the Educational Institution Option’s benefits and support, it must apply for re-enrollment to the Educational Institution Option. Microsoft may accept or reject such application in its sole discretion.
- I acknowledge that the services, materials, software, and related technology (Items) provided or accessed as part of the Educational Institution Option may be subject to U.S. and other countries’ export jurisdictions. I will comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the import or export of the Items, including but not limited to trade laws such as the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and sanctions regulations administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (trade laws). I will not take any action that causes Microsoft to violate U.S. or other applicable trade laws. For additional information, see www.microsoft.com/exporting.
- I understand that Microsoft may screen the Institution and its Educators including, by way of example only, in connection with or for purposes of trade law compliance, academic verification and “do not engage” lists. Without limitation to paragraph (5) above, Microsoft may for any or no reason, including in connection with any such screenings, and at its sole discretion, terminate the Institution’s enrollment in the Educational Institution Option, terminate an Educator’s participation in the Education Institution Option on behalf of the Institution, or remove specific Educators’ ability to enroll in the Individual Educator option.
