Set up bin templates

With the bin creation worksheet, you can create multiple bins at once. Each bin must be set up with a bin type, bin ranking, and so on. That is why before you can use the bin creation worksheet, you first need to set up bin templates that contain the configuration that you want to assign to the new bins.

To create a bin template, follow these steps.

  1. Select the Search for page icon in the top-right corner of the page, enter bin templates, and select the related link.

  2. Select New.

The first time you open the Bin Templates page, there are only a few columns displayed. But to set up a bin template that contains all the required data, you need to add at least the following fields through the Personalize function.

  • Zone Code

  • Bin Type Code

  • Bin Ranking

If necessary, you can also add fields like the Warehouse Class Code. With these fields added to the Bin Templates page, you can now create a new template.
