Hello Team,

One quick question please,

There is a way to limit the spending on a pay as you go subscription? when this limit is reached, the ressources will be disabled?

I know that we can configure a budget limit, but the budget limit just notify you when a limit is reached, and don't affect the ressources.

Thank you

    Hello @Mohamed jihad bayali

Setting spending limit works on credit based subscriptions like free trial, visual studio offer type etc. where enabling the spending limit will recommend you to run your services on the same which will be within the monetary credits to avoid charges on pay-as-you-go.

There is no spending limit feature for Pay-As-You-Go and you will not be able to set it. Your understanding about budget is correct. That can be used to be vigilant about your Azure spending.

    Hope this clarifies.

    Kind regards
    Divya.

I agree, as an experienced developer, being able to set the limit would remove the worry of making a mistake while learning.

Ditto. Bake in a safety mechanism for those trying to experiment outside the scope of a free trial.
