Hi,

We are going to make use a 3rd party Software Patching automation tool for Windows Update patching.

We also make use SCCM for Application Rollout and update.

We would like to know is there any way for us to disable Windows Update component in SCCM Client Agent.

Thanks

Hi @TonyJK,

We usually enable or disable software updates on the Client Settings. When you disable this setting, Configuration Manager removes existing deployment policies from clients. When you re-enable this setting, the client downloads the current deployment policy.

But here I only have the default client settings. If you have other client settings in your environment, be aware of the priority and scope of client settings.
